The SKILLSPATH project has started!

MDAT SA, started a new project the “Social Innovations for the Upskilling of Vulnerable Youth, Especially Young People not in Employment, Education, or Training (NEETs)” the project “Skillspath” under the Economic and Social Fund Plus (ESF+) Lithuanian Agency (fund manager of the Social Innovation Initiative Plus).

Project duration: 1.12.2024-31.12.2025 (24 months)

Partners: International Rescue Committee (IRC) Germany (lead partner), IRC Hellas, (GR)

SkillLab, (NL), Andalusian Fund of Municipalities for International Solidarity (FAMSI), (ES).

Our project aims to develop the skills of vulnerable young people, in particular young people with a migrant background, by reintegrating them into education and the labor market, in particular in the green industry, using innovative methods/practices that have proven successful in previous projects and frameworks. This will be done by further development of good practices implemented by partners in our consortium and have proven successful in the areas of target group outreach, skills development and validation and activation of skills in the labor market.

The role of MDAT SA in the project will be the coordination of actions in the pilot component in cooperation with IRC Hellas as well as dissemination and promotion of the results.
